Daniel Arredondo Art Bio

Daniel Arredondo was born in San Antonio Texas in 1951 and has lived in the San Antonio area all his life. He went to San Antonio College and graduated from UT Dental School San Antonio in 1975. Daniel has always had a passion for drawing and painting. In 1975 Daniel took private lessons for three years from Herman DeJori, a local famous portrait artist. With a wife and family art was occasionally delved into until 1992. Since that time, Daniel has painted prolifically, over six hundred portraits from life. He has also traveled extensively and done plein air painting in over a dozen other countries.
 
Daniel has continued his studies with nationally recognized artists as, Daniel Green, John Howard Sanden, Kevin Macpherson, Janice Hindes, Scott Burdick, Michael Dudash, Kathryn Stats, Sherrie McGraw, George Strickland, Clayton Beck, William Kalwick,  Paul Leveille and many others.
 
Daniel has won many awards in painting competitions, has juried painting competitions, and given portrait demonstrations to local art clubs. He is a member of the American Portrait Society, Coppini Academy of Fine Arts, and his art is exhibited at the Red Berry Mansion.
